GlasPro’s SpecReps – Decorative Architectural Products team Lisa Bell and Linda Leser fought the heat to meet and greet players at the Eklund’s, Inc

A 3,000 square foot canopy of blue and green transparent glass fabricated by GlasPro is a featured part of “Harmonic Grove” the grand entryway at Our Lady of the Lake Children’s Hospital in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
Designed by multi-media artist and architect, Christopher Janney, Harmonic Grove is composed of the colored glass canopy spread over a unique space-frame structure together with interactive sound and light elements. The 88 – 6’ x 6’ colored glass panels are a combination of blues, blue-green and green colors in harmony with both the Mississippi River color scheme of the building’s exterior and its interior entrance space. During the day, the sun paints colored shadows within the white space-frame and canopy structure as well as deep colored shadows on the ground.
Turner Industries – Assembled canopy – hoisted 88 sheets of glass into place where it was welded together and supported by twelve structural columns. Delta Industries Inc. assembled structure.
