Designed by architects Laidlaw and Shultz in Newport Beach California, the Brown’s residence was inspired by expansive ocean, harbor and city views. Using unique materials of glass, exotic wood, limestone, concrete and steel, the design team, which included RDM builders chose to compliment (or enhance) both the views and materials with a 55 ft. opening of perfectly clear Starfire in sliding glass panels.
Starfire glass can be seen throughout the house… encased in large steel doors and panels that highlight a working wine cellar and in the front courtyard, welcoming and granting visitors a peak thru the house at the spectacular view.
