Laminated glass consists of two or more sheets of glass bonded together with one or more inner layers of transparent plastic (interlayer) to which the glass adheres if broken. The bonding is achieved by heating the glass/interlayer sandwich under pressure in an autoclave. When laminated safety glass breaks, the pieces remain attached to the internal plastic layer and the glass remains transparent.
Tempered glass is treated glass that is strengthened by reheating it and suddenly cooling it. When shattered, it breaks into small pieces. Since these particles do not have the sharp edges and dagger points of broken annealed glass, tempered glass is regarded as a safety glass and safety glazing material. Tempered glass is also approximately five times stronger than standard annealed glass.

Polished edges are produced by buffing the edge of the glass with a fine abrasive material and polishing oil. The result is a beautifully translucent finish. Flat polished edges are excellent options for thick glass.
GlasPro can cut virtually any shape or size hole to fit your specific design needs.
Mitering is the process of joining together two pieces of glass together. Mitered corners are fitted together from glass cut at angles. Two pieces cut at 45-degree angles fit together to form a snug, 90-degree corner.
