Fabrication Capabilities & Services
Our Capabilities
GlasPro offers many high-quality glass fabrication capabilities to meet your needs from tempering and insulating to direct-to-glass printing and custom color matching. Our talented glass fabricators deliver the finest craftsmanship in our glass products made to your specifications.

Laminating
Laminated glass consists of two or more sheets of glass bonded together with one or more inner layers of transparent plastic (interlayer) to which the glass adheres if broken. The bonding is achieved by heating the glass/interlayer sandwich under pressure in an autoclave. When laminated safety glass breaks, the pieces remain attached to the internal plastic layer and the glass remains transparent.

Tempering
Tempered glass is treated glass that is strengthened by reheating it and suddenly cooling it. When shattered, it breaks into small pieces. Since these particles do not have the sharp edges and dagger points of broken annealed glass, tempered glass is regarded as a safety glass and safety glazing material. Tempered glass is also approximately five times stronger than standard annealed glass.

Insulating
A combination of two or more panes of glass with a hermetically sealed air space between the panes of glass, separated by a spacer.

Direct to Glass Printing
GlasPro uses the finest machinery to deliver direct to glass printing of your artwork. Learn More

Back Painting
Back painted glass is glass that has been painted on the backside. That way, from the front side, the glass is no longer translucent, but instead opaque (impenetrable to light) Learn More

Custom Color Matching
GlasPro can color match backpainted products against any Pantone® swatch or major paint brand. We can also help you formulate colored laminated glass with our ColorToolbox™.

CNC Glass Cutting
The water jet machinery is used for cutting complex shapes and edgework on thin or thick glass types.

Surface Treatments
GlasPro can treat glass surfaces with ceramic frit opacification, sandblasting, etching, etc.

Custom Shapes
Our skilled fabricators can custom shape glass to your specifications…

Polished Edges
Polished edges are produced by buffing the edge of the glass with a fine abrasive material and polishing oil. The result is a beautifully translucent finish. Flat polished edges are excellent options for thick glass.

Holes / Cutouts
GlasPro can cut virtually any shape or size hole to fit your specific design needs.

Miters / Edges
Mitering is the process of joining together two pieces of glass together. Mitered corners are fitted together from glass cut at angles. Two pieces cut at 45-degree angles fit together to form a snug, 90-degree corner.

Notches
GlasPro can create an indentation or incision on the edge or surface of glass.

Hinges
GlasPro can create slots in glass to accommodate space for hinges on shower doors and other applications.

Craftsmanship
Our talented glass fabricators deliver the finest craftsmanship in our glass products made to your specifications.
